Cleansing Green Juice

Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Yields: 4 servings

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Celery (or Cucumber for those who don’t like Celery) – 3 bunches

Kale – 1 bunch

Collard Greens – 2 bunches

2 Green Apples

2 Big Lemons

handful of cilantro

handful of parsley

handful of dandelion

Directions:

 

Put all healthy goodness through the juicer except the lemons. The lemon rind can make the juice bitter so I like to juice the lemons separately and add it in at the end.

The cilantro, parsley & dandelion are extremely cleansing & detoxifying but can be a bit bitter as well. By using only a handful of each the other flavors mask the taste so you get them into your system easily and effortlessly (really the whole point of juices!).

Notes:

The cooking time of 30 minutes is really the juicing time of 30 minutes. This is because this amount of greens gives you a whole lot of juice. In my mind if I have to clean the juicer, I want to get a whole lot out of it! 🙂

If you want less cut it by half 🙂
