3 Tips for Glowing Skin

3 Tips for Glowing Skin

Our skin goes through a lot. In the winter it’s cold and dry and we try our best to keep it moisturized. Yes, you read that right!)   1 ♥ What are you putting on your skin? Most beauty products (yes,...

My love for Jim Carrey just shot up exponentially. Take the one minute (it’s really one...

How Gluten Affects Your Mood and What to Do About it

My Path to Becoming a Health Coach

My Path to Becoming a Health Coach

“Maybe you can’t change the whole world, but if you have love in your heart you can make small differences every day, which really does change the world, one life at a time.” - Kristina Koncz     I had the idea while running down the west side highway in NYC, not surprisingly; don’t the best ideas come when we are moving our bodies? Anyways, I decided that I wanted to share everything I had learned about food and nutrition. I wanted to share how my body changed, my mind changed, my mood changed, how amazing I...

How Smart Phones are Affecting Our Health

How Smart Phones are Affecting Our Health

“The greatest polluting element in the earth’s environment is the proliferation of (EMFs) electromagnetic fields. I consider that to be a far greater threat on a global scale than warming, or the increase of chemical elements in the environment.” - Dr. Robert Becker, two-time Nobel prize nominee   My Cell Phone Story: For those who follow me on my facebook page, I am pretty transparent about wanting to use my phone less. Often times when we share our Mini-Step Mondays I will say putting my phone away at night.  I had/have (it’s a...

The Healing Benefits of Broth

The Healing Benefits of Broth

“Food is the most intimate thing you can buy…Unlike clothes and shoes that dress the outside, food goes into your body and builds who you become.” - Ani Phyo       There is something about my Italian grandmother’s chicken noodle soup. A Hidden Key to Weight Loss.

A Hidden Key to Weight Loss.

“Health is like money, we never have a true idea of its value until we lose it.”  - Josh Billings       Toxic chemicals are found in the air we breathe, the water we drink, aluminum in our deodorant, on our food as pesticides, herbicides and fungicides, in our perfumes, beauty products, even the clothes that we wear. Quite the line-up. And quite the job on our organs to cleanse it all out. We’ve developed over 80,000 new chemicals in the past 100 years or so that we are dumping into and onto our bodies. When...
